Who we are

Kanna Spatial Ltd ("Kanna", "we") is a reality capture and building performance consultancy registered in Scotland. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at studio@kannaspatial.co.uk or 0141 260 0115.

What we collect and why

• Contact enquiries. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email, phone number, organisation, and the details of your enquiry. We use this to respond to you and prepare quotes. The form is processed by Formspree, who act as our processor.
• Client portal. If we set you up with a portal account we collect your email address and account credentials, processed by Supabase, to give you secure access to your project deliverables.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
• Email and phone. If you contact us directly we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project.

Legal basis

We process enquiry and project data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to you, delivering work you've asked about) or contract performance once you instruct us. Analytics runs on the basis of consent where required.

Survey data and site capture

Our scanning work captures buildings, not people. Where occupied spaces are captured (for example a Matterport tour of a working building), we schedule and process captures to avoid identifiable individuals wherever practical, and we treat all project data as confidential to the client. Nothing captured on a project is published without the client's written agreement.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the processors named above (Formspree, Supabase, Google) and professional advisers where legally required. Enquiry data is kept for up to two years; project and client data is kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period required for legal, insurance, and warranty purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email studio@kannaspatial.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site uses cookies only for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and for authentication on the client portal. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
