Insurance documentation.

Fast, complete 3D records of damaged and at-risk buildings — a Matterport walk-around for the evidence, a LiDAR scan for the measurements. Timestamped, navigable and measurable, for insurers, loss adjusters, landlords and surveyors. Glasgow-based, working UK-wide.

Evidence and measurements, from one visit.

An insurance record has to do two jobs: prove what the damage was, and let you quantify putting it right. We capture both in a single attendance.

01

3D Matterport Walk-Around

A navigable, timestamped 3D tour of the property in its current condition. Anyone in the claim — adjuster, insurer, contractor — can walk every room remotely, in detail, without a site visit.

LiDAR Point Cloud

Dimensionally accurate point cloud data, so damaged areas, fixtures and finishes can be measured and quantified for reinstatement — not estimated from photographs.

Schematic Floor Plans

CAD-quality floor plans generated from the scan data, with affected areas marked. Useful for scope-of-works, reinstatement pricing, and claim files.

A Permanent Record

The property frozen at a point in time. Evidence that holds up for the life of the claim, and a like-for-like reference long after strip-out and repair have begun.

Available for the life of the claim
Hosted & downloadable
Confidential to the client

When a record needs to hold up.

Anywhere the condition of a building at a moment in time becomes the question.

Fire damage

Document the full extent before strip-out begins — including the secondary damp and soot damage that spreads in the weeks after a fire.

Flood & escape of water

A dated record of water damage across every affected room, with measurable areas for drying, reinstatement and claim quantification.

Schedules of condition

A complete, timestamped 3D record of a property at lease start or before adjoining works — far stronger than a folder of photos in any later dispute.

Dilapidations

Evidence of condition at end of lease, captured fast and in full, so terminal dilapidations can be assessed and negotiated from data, not memory.

Reinstatement reference

Every fixture, fitting and finish preserved in context, so like-for-like replacement can be specified and priced directly from the scan.

Loss adjusting & claims

Give adjusters and all parties one shared, indisputable record they can inspect and measure remotely — fewer site visits, faster settlement.

Capture once, while the evidence is still there.

The window to document a damaged building is short — drying, strip-out and repair change it by the week. A single fast, non-contact capture freezes it at a point in time and answers questions for the life of the claim, so nobody has to keep going back in.

We bring both tools to the same visit — Matterport for the walk-around and LiDAR for the measurements — and treat everything as confidential to the client.

Fast attendance

Insurance work is prioritised — we move while the original condition is still there to record.

Timestamped & complete

A dated record of the whole property, not a selective set of photos.

Measurable, not estimated

LiDAR point cloud data so reinstatement areas and quantities come from measurement.

Confidential by default

Records are confidential to the client; nothing is published without written agreement.

Insurance documentation, answered.

What is an insurance documentation survey? +
It is a fast, complete 3D capture of a property recorded as evidence for an insurance claim or condition record. We document the building two ways: a Matterport 3D walk-around for the visual record, and a LiDAR scan for measurable point cloud data. The result is a timestamped, navigable, dimensionally accurate record that every party in a claim can inspect and measure remotely.
How quickly can you attend? +
Fire and flood evidence degrades by the week as damp spreads and strip-out begins, so we prioritise insurance work. Tell us the location and access arrangements and we will confirm the earliest attendance — often within days. We are Glasgow-based and cover Scotland weekly, with UK-wide attendance for larger or multi-property instructions.
Matterport or LiDAR — which do I need? +
For most claims, both, from a single visit. The Matterport walk-around is the visual evidence — what the property looked like, room by room. The LiDAR scan is the measurable record — accurate areas and dimensions for quantifying reinstatement. We will advise the right mix for your claim; a simple condition record may only need the walk-around, while a full reinstatement scope benefits from the point cloud.
Is the record usable as evidence? +
Yes. Each capture is timestamped and records everything in view from every scan position — not just the angles someone chose to photograph. It is a complete, navigable, measurable record that freezes the property at a point in time, which is exactly what holds up across the life of a claim or a dilapidations negotiation.
Can you document a property that is unsafe or being stripped out? +
Fire- and flood-damaged buildings are often unpleasant or unsafe to spend time in, and capture is fast and non-contact, so a single early visit minimises time on site. The sooner we capture, the more of the original condition is preserved before drying, strip-out and repair change it.
Is the documentation confidential? +
Always. Insurance and condition records are confidential to the client. We publish nothing without written agreement, and the captures shown on this site are anonymised or cleared for use.
